First edition first print hardback of THE LAST LION (Winston Spencer Churchill - Visions of Glory: 1874-1932) by William Manchester and published by Michael Joseph in 1983.

The book is in very good condition (red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light bumping to the corners and the top and bottom edges of the spine. The book is in a very good- unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing and rubbing to the edges and back cover and a small closed tear near the top front spine ridge. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.
