First edition, first print hardback POP-UP book of WALLACE & GROMIT A CLOSE SHAVE. Written by Nick Park. Paper-engineering by Damian Johnston, illustrations by Ken Stott and Bill Kerwin and published by BBC Worldwide Ltd./ AARDMAN, London in 1998.

The book is in very good condition with only minor wear (blue pictorial boards red/yellow lettering on front and spine which has only slight bumping to the corners). No dust jacket as issued. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no inscriptions. There is slight creasing/rubbing to some of the pull-out tabs but nothing drastic. One or two short closed tears and one pop repaired by celotape (though this is not noticeable until you look for it). A fun item that can still be enjoyed.
