A Box Set of TWO 33rpm LP Records: VERDI: FALSTAFF, an Opera in Three Acts, featuring the Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Herbert Von Karajan. The chorus master is Roberto Benaglio. It was issued on the Stereo EMI label in 1988 and is digitally remastered from the original 1957 recording using Direct Method Mastering. The cast includes: Tito Gobbi, Luigi Alva, Rolando Panerai, Tomaso Spataro, Renato Ercolani and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. Included is the libretto prepared by Arrigo Boito.This item is unplayed and is still sealed in selophane. The selophane is torn at the back but has never been fully removed. The vinyl records are therefore in mint condition.
