First edition first print hardback of WASHINGTON: IMAGES OF A STATE'S HERITAGE by Carlos Schwantes, Katherine Morrissey, David Nicandri and Susan Strasser and published by Melior Publications in 1988. Signed 'Best Wishes To You' to a previous owner by Secretary of State Ralph Munro on the title page alongside his attached business card. Full numberline 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1.

The book is in very good condition (red cloth boards with gold lettering to spine and front) with very light bumping to the top corner of the front board and light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket that has creasing to the top edge of the front and back covers and top and bottom of the spine. Internally, there is light foxing to the front pastedown and endpaper but the pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
