The book is in very good condition (Clean black cloth boards with silver lettering on spine. Couple of minor indentations to top board edges) with only very minor wear to the dust jacket, which is not price clipped. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no other inscriptions.

Timothy Willocks is a British doctor and novelist, an experienced psychiatrist. He is noted for the portrayal of himself, or elements of himself, within his novels which usually feature a central character with extensive medical knowledge of drugs and martial arts. This reflects the knowledge Willocks has gained in the practice of martial arts as he has achieved a black belt in Shotokan karate.

Willocks' 1991 novel 'Bad City Blues' was adapted for the screen in 1999 in a movie starring Dennis Hopper. Willocks also wrote the Steven Spielberg documentary 'The Unfinished Journey'.

In 1994, Tim Willocks burst onto the scene with an unforgettable novel called "Green River Rising". Hailed as 'the best thriller since "The Silence of the Lambs" (Daily Telegraph), it was particularly praised for the quality of Tim Willocks' prose and for his extraordinarily dark imagination.
