First edition first print hardback of STALK-EYED CRUSTACEA MALACOSTRACA OF THE SCOTTISH NATIONAL ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION (Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh Vol. L. Part II No. 9) by Thomas Stebbing and published by Robert Grant & Son in 1914. Signed by Stebbing to Professor E Vanhoffen, a fellow zoologist, on the title page.The book is in very good condition (marbled boards with gilt lettering on a black plate attached to a banded brown leather spine) with light rubbing to the corners and top and bottom of the spine. No dust jacket as issued. Internally, the first and last few pages of the book are age spotted and the rest of the pages are lightly age tanned but are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
