33rpm 6-track LP Record of THE THELONIOUS MONK ORCHESTRA IN CONCERT featuring Thelonious Monk on piano, Donald Byrd on trumpet, Phil Woods on alto sax, Pepper Adams on baritone sax and others. It was issued on the stereo Riverside label in 1960. Catalogue number: 673 022. UK pressing.
The record itself is graded excellent, with no more than the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Excellent sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive clicks or crackle and just a very occasional dust pop/isolated light tick. Otherwise more or less faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. Faint spider marks.
The outer sleeve is graded very good, with a bit of light wear (bumping to corners, light rubbing to edges, faint sticker removal residue at the front). The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
