First edition, first print hardback of THE ANATOMY & DEVELOPMENT OF THE FORMULA ONE RACING CAR FROM 1975, by Sal Incandela and published by Haynes Publishing Group in 1982.The book is in near fine condition (clean red boards with faded silver lettering to spine) with only minor wear to the dust jacket, which is not price clipped (slight rubbing and creasing to edges, light bumping to corners, light creasing to spine, nothing drastic at all). Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions.
The 1970s saw the development of the Formula One racing car move forward at a staggering pace - mainly through the understanding, and exploitation, of aerodynamics to improve tyre adhesion.
