First UK edition, first print hardback of EASY-TO-MAKE WOODEN TOYS, by Terry Forde and published by David & Charles Ltd., London, in 1984.The book is in very good condition (clean red boards and gold lettering on spine) with slight wear to the dust jacket, which is price clipped (creasing/ rubbing to edges, slight chipping to the top corners, some water stains towards the bottom edge inside the jacket which is invisible from outside). There is slight yellowish-brown stain on the front end paper. Otherwise, internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions.Colourful, imaginative,practical and sturdy toys; just what parents want for their children and with the aid of this book and just a little woodworking experience, any reasonably practical person can make them - mums too.
