First edition, first print stapled paperback/booklet of ALL OF TED JOANS AND NO MORE (Beat Generation Jazz Poems) by Ted Joans and published by Excelsior Press in 1961. Signed with a personal message by Joans on the front endpaper. Very scarce.The book is in good condition with light folding to the top corners of the front and back covers (which are also age tanned) and light rubbing to the spine. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions. Considering this is a 50+-year-old paperback it is very presentable.
This collection of poems is the very best of Ted Joans' work dating from 1947 to his unfinished TRAVELIN' poem. It is titled All of Ted Joans and No More because he intended this to be his last literary work, although of course this was not to be the case.
