The four volumes of 'COLLECTED ANIMAL POEMS' together comprise a 'book for life', a collection for a child to cut its reading teeth on and to grow with into and through adulthood. Each volume is arranged by the poet himself in a sequence of increasing complexity, starting with poems written for children and culminating with poems from his adult collections. Previously unpublished work is also included.
