33rpm vinyl LP of Tchaikovsky PIANO CONCERTO NO 1 and Scriabin: Four Pieces/Etude, featuring Yevgeny Kissin on piano, accompanied by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Herbert von Karajan. It was issued on the Deutsche Grammophon digital label in 1989. Live performance. German pressing. Catalogue number: 427 485-1.The record itself is graded excellent, with no more than the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on an audio-technica turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive ticks, pops or crackle. Just about faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No discernible spider marks.
The outer sleeve is graded very good with creasing to both bottom corners and rubbing to a small area on the top edge. The spine is intact and strong with a tiny bit of loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has a thumbnail closed tear on the open edge.
