33rpm LP Record of SXL 6497 KODALY PSALMUS HUNGARICUS PEACOCK VARIATIONS, featuring Lajos Kozma with the Brighton Festival Chorus and the Wandsworth School Boys' Choir, accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Istvan Kertesz. Also featured is the Chorus of the London Symphony Orchestra. It was issued on the Stereo DECCA narrowband label in 1971. UK pressing. Insert included.The record itself is graded a bit less than excellent, with one or two surface marks when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on an AIWA turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, ticks, pops or crackle. Just about faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean. No visible spider marks.
The outer sleeve is also graded a bit less than excellent, with minor wear (creasing to top corners, very light bumping to a couple of corners). The pinched spine is sturdy, with no loss to the lettering. The original inner sleeve and insert have no wear to speak of.
