SXL 6233 Beethoven SYMPHONY No 9 Vinyl Record

On offer here is a 33rpm LP Record of SXL 6233 Beethoven Symphony No 9 'Choral', featuring Joan Sutherland, Marilyn Horne, James King, Martti Talvela. The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is conducted by Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt. It was issued on the DECCA narrowband label in 1966 and is subsequently a fourth pressing (ED4). Insert included of stanzas from 'Ode To Joy'.

The record itself is in excellent condition, with only one or two light scratches/marks visible under normal house lighting. Very good sound quality, with NO jumps or crackle and only occasional light ticks/pops, but nothing to spoil the overall enjoyment. Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean, light spider marks.

The sleeve and inner sleeve are in very good condition, with no major wear to speak of, just some light rubbing/bumping.
