Soloists include Joan Sutherland, Marilyn Horne, James King and Martti Talvela with the Vienna State Opera Chorus. It was issued on the Stereo DECCA wideband ungrooved label (ED3) in 1966. Includes lyric sheet.
The record itself is graded excellent, with just the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, continuous ticks or crackle and just a very occasional light pop, mainly on Side Two. Otherwise more or less faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. Very light spider marks.
The outer sleeve is graded a bit less than excellent, with just some light ringwear. The pinched spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
