33rpm 3 LP Record Box Set of SXL 2160-2 Tchaikovsky THE SLEEPING BEAUTY (Complete Ballet in a Prologue and Three Acts) featuring L'Orchestre De La Suisse Romande conducted by Ernest Ansermet. It was issued on the stereo DECCA wideband ungrooved label in 1959. 'Made in England By' in the 10 o'clock position (ED3). UK pressing. Includes booklet.The records themselves are graded excellent, with the odd light surface mark/hairline visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive ticks or crackle and just one or two very light pops overall. More or less faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No more than very faint spider marks.
The box is graded at least excellent, is clean, intact and sturdy, with no more than very light rubbing to edges. The spine has slight loss to the lettering. The inner sleeves and booklet have no wear to speak of, in fact are in near mint condition. Overall, a superb copy of this sought after box set.
