SXL 2003 Beethoven SYMPHONY NO 5 Vinyl LP WBGr ED1 Ansermet Cleaned Plays EX

33rpm vinyl LP Record of SXL 2003 Beethoven SYMPHONY NO 5 and Egmont Overture, featuring L'Orchestre de la Suisee Romande conducted by Ernest Ansermet. It was issued on the Stereo DECCA wideband grooved label in 1958. 'Original Recording By' in the 10 o'clock position. Blue back outer sleeve. UK pressing. Ultrasonically cleaned.

The record itself is graded very good, with some light surface marks visible under normal domestic lighting. Play-tested on an audio-technica turntable. Superb sound quality. Plays better than expected with no major issues, just an occasional light pop and a bit of crackle around three quarters of the way through on each side that lasts no more than a couple of seconds. Otherwise pretty near faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. No visible spider marks.

The outer sleeve is graded good+ with ring wear to both covers, rubbing to edges and corners, lightly soiled, general handling and storage wear. The thin spine is intact and strong with no splits. The original inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
