First edition, first print hardback of DARK TERRORS 2: THE GOLLANCZ BOOK OF HORROR, edited by Stephen Jones and David Sutton and published by Victor Gollancz Ltd., London, in 1996. Cover art by Bob Eggleton. Signed by Bob Eggleton and Brian Lumley (one of the contributing authors) on the title page.

The book is in very good condition (Clean black cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine) with minor wear to the illustrated dust jacket, which is price clipped (light creasing to the edges, a little moisture staining to the bottom edge inside the jacket and a creasing line across the front inside flap). Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no other inscriptions.

Stephen Jones is an eighteen-time winner of the British Fantasy Award, editor of horror anthologies, and the author of several book-length studies of horror and fantasy films as well as an account of Lovecraft's early British publications. He is winner of the World Fantasy Award, Bram Stoker Award, International Horror Guild Award, and British Fantasy Award, and is the editor of more than forty books, including The Mammoth Book of Best New Horror series.

David Sutton, winner of the British Fantasy Award and the International Horror Guild Award, has co-edited, with Stephen Jones, both the Dark Terror and the Dark Voices fantasy/horror series.

David Sutton has been writing and editing in the fantasy and horror fields for more than 30 years. He has won twelve British Fantasy Awards, as well as the World Fantasy Award and two International Horror Guild Award.

Brian Lumley is the author of the bestselling Necroscope series of vampire novels. An acknowledged master of Lovecraft-style horror, Brian Lumley has won the British Fantasy Award and been named a Grand Master of Horror. His works have been published in more than a dozen countries and have inspired comic books, role-playing games, and sculpture, and been adapted for television.

On 28 March 2010 Lumley was awarded Lifetime Achievement Award of the Horror Writers Association. He also received a World Fantasy Award for Lifetime Achievement in 2010.

Bob Eggleton is a science fiction, fantasy, and horror artist. Eggleton has been honoured with the Hugo Award for Best Professional Artist eight times, first winning in 1994. He also won the Hugo Award for Best Related Book in 2001 for his art book "Greetings From Earth". He also won the Chesley Award for Artistic Achievement in 1999 and was the guest of honor at Chicon 2000.
