First edition, first print hardback of WUTHERING HEIGHTS ACCORDING TO SPIKE MILLIGAN by Spike Milligan and published by Michael Joseph in 1994. Signed to a previous owner by Milligan on the front endpaper.

The book is in near fine condition (blue cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with no significant wear. The dust jacket, which is not price clipped, is in very good+ condition (folding crease to the top corner of the front inner flap). Internally, the pages are clean and tight. There are no tears and no inscriptions. Very minor tanning to pages, nothing more.

Wuthering Heights, a sweeping tale of brooding passions, is another classic novel to be subjected to the Milligan treatment. Spike's outrageous spoof unashamedly lays bare the novel's more absurd aspects.
