A Box Set of THREE 33rpm LP Records: SLS 5271 TCHAIKOVSKY SWAN LAKE, featuring the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by John Lanchbery. It was issued on the stereo Digital EMI Records label in 1982. Included is a 12-page booklet containing background notes in English. Foreword by Dame Margot Fonteyn.The records themselves are graded excellent plus, with no more than the odd very light surface mark when viewed under normal domestic lighting. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps or crackle and only one or two very soft ticks on Side 3 and a couple of pops on Side 5 (just to be hyper-critical, there really is very little in the way of blemishes). In fact, just about faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean, no discernible spider marks.
The box, inner sleeves and booklet are all graded excellent with no wear to speak of. Attractive item that looks almost new.
