SLPM 139126 Brahms DOUBLE CONCERTO Vinyl LP Starker Schneiderhan

33rpm LP Record of SLPM 139126 Brahms DOUBLE CONCERTO and Tragic Overture, featuring Wolfgang Schneiderhan on violin and Janos Starker on cello, with the Radio Symphony Orchestra, Berlin conducted by Ferenc Fricsay (Double Concerto) and the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Lorin Maazel (Tragic Overture). It was issued on the Stereo Deutsche Grammophon label in 1962. German pressing.

The record itself is graded excellent, with no more than the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality with no jumps, repetitive ticks, pops or crackle. Just about faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean. Very light spider marks.

The outer sleeve is graded a bit less than excellent, with a bit of colour fading to the front spine edge and a tiny bit of rubbing here and there. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
