SLPM 138999 Beethoven VIOLIN CONCERTO Vinyl LP Schneiderhan

33rpm LP Record of SLPM 138999 Beethoven VIOLIN CONCERTO in D major, Op.61 featuring Wolfgang Schneiderhan on violin with the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Eugen Jochum. It was issued on the stereo Deutsche Grammophon tulips label in 1963. Red stereo logo. German pressing.

The record itself is graded excellent, with the odd light surface mark/hairline visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, loud pops or background crackle and just around a dozen soft ticks about halfway through Side 1. Otherwise more or less faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. Very faint spider marks.

The outer sleeve is graded very good minus with rubbing to edges and corners, one-and-a-half-inch split to top edge, bit of ringwear to back cover. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
