33rpm vinyl record of Schumann CELLO CONCERTO Bloch SCHELOMO Bruch KOL NIDREI, featuring Christine Walevska on cello, accompanied by the Monte Carlo Opera Orchestra conducted by Eliahu Inbal. It was issued on the Philips stereo red and silver label in 1970. Catalogue number: 6500 160. UK pressing.
The record itself is graded excellent, with no more than the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal domestic lighting. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive clicks or crackle and only a very occasional light dust pop. Otherwise just about faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean, the very faintest spider marks.
The outer sleeve is graded very good, with some light wear (slight rubbing to edges, bumping to corners, three sticker removal patches on the back cover, one of which has obliterated the lettering on a couple of words). The spine is intact and strong with very minor loss to a couple of letters. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
