33rpm LP Record of SB 2108 Elgar ENIGMA VARIATIONS and Brahms: Variations on a Theme of Haydn featuring the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Pierre Monteux. It was issued on the RCA Living Stereo red and silver grooved label in 1960. UK pressing.The record itself is graded excellent minus, with some light surface marks/hairlines visible under normal domestic lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, repetitive ticks or crackle and just a very occasional light pop. Hardly worth mentioning. Otherwise more or less faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels clean. Some light spider marks.
The flipback outer sleeve is graded very good with light rubbing to edges and corners, ringwear to back cover, partially removed selotape repair to front open edge which has a couple of thumbnail closed tears. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has no wear to speak of.
