33rpm LP Record of SAN 107 Faure REQUIEM featuring Victoria De Los Angeles and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, with the Paris Conservatoire Orchestra conducted by Andre Cluytens. It was issued on the stereo Angel Series white label in 1963. UK pressing. Includes booklet.The record itself is graded very good plus with the odd light surface mark visible when viewed under normal house lighting. Play-tested on a USB turntable. Superb sound quality, with NO jumps, ticks or crackle and just a couple of pops on each side. Hardly worth mentioning. Otherwise stunning faultless playback.
Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels have some light fingermarks. Very light (hardly noticeable) spider marks.
The gatefold sleeve is graded very good, with some handling, storage and age-related wear that includes bumping to the corners and light ringwear to the rear cover. The spine is intact and strong with no loss to the lettering. The inner sleeve has some age-related browning. The booklet, which has become detached, has some light age spotting here and there.
