First edition, first print paperback of THE HIGHFIELD MOLE (The Circle in the Spiral) by Roderick Gordon and Brian Williams and published by Mathew and Son Limited in 2005. Signed, dated (17th March 2005), first-lined (Schlaak, the pickaxe hit the wall of earth) and doodled by Gordon and Williams on the half title page (the doodle is on the dedication page). Includes bookmark and postcard, both double signed. The middle section of the book has a number of illustrations on glossy paper.

The book is in fine condition with no significant wear. The spine has no reading crease. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
