First edition, first reprint hardback of THE BARRYTOWN TRILOGY (The Commitments; The Snapper; The Van) by Roddy Doyle and published by Secker & Warburg in 1992. Signed and dated by Doyle on the title page.The book is in very good- condition (blue cloth boards with silver lettering to spine) with just a bit of light wear externally (horizontal scratch to front board, creasing to head and tail of spine). The book is in a very good- unclipped dust jacket with some light wear (rubbing and very slight curling to edges, light bumping to corners). Internally, the pages are clean and tight, though there is a short creasing line to the top corners of the first twenty pages or so, and there is age toning to the page edges and margins. There are no tears or other inscriptions. Overall, this book is in better than usual condition for this particular title, which is often found in poor condition.
