The book is in near fine condition (pictoral cloth boards with gold lettering to black leather spine) with no significant wear. The book is in a very good+ slipcase that has a tiny dent and some staining to the back board.

Robert Glover's reputation has always been high. He is the herald's herald par excellence: he took an innovatively broad approach to historical and archaeological sources for his work, but he devoted his greatest energies to gathering heraldic material and to copying and arranging it accurately and correctly.
