The book is in fine condition (pictorial boards with gold lettering to brown leather spine) with no significant wear. The book is in a near fine slipcase that has some light staining on one side.

They range from Caxton's version of The Golden Legend's account of St George to a translation from a forthcoming edition of the Latin text of the life of Merlin by one of the best medieval Latin scholars of today.
