In the summer of 1984 accountant Alex Goodman was living in Birmingham happily married with a child. An ordinary man living an ordinary life. On the afternoon of 29th July his family went for a walk in the local woods. The trip turned to bloody carnage and Goodman found himself hours later in a hospital bed - a man with no memory, a man with no past. Then began a ten year hunt first for his identity, later for revenge as his path entwined with the world's most dangerous men...
When Goodman approached author / explorer Ranulph Fiennes to write his story Fiennes reluctantly agreed to hear him out. Hooked, Fiennes spent 1994 and 1995 retracing Goodman's tragic trail to determine the shocking truth. The story of a very ordinary person but not a story for the faint-hearted or the squeamish. The story of an unforgettable past - too terrible to remember. The Sett: Fact or fiction? A fascinating book. Items are sent promptly and well packed
