First USA edition, first print hardback of LAND OF THREE MISTS by Peter Daniels. Published by Xlibris Corporation, in 2011. Signed and dated by Daniels on the half title page.The book is in very good condition (Clean blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine), with minor wear to the illustrated dust jacket which is price not clipped (light rubbing to a couple of corners). Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no other inscriptions.
Peter Daniels was born and educated in Birmingham England, and spent 15years as a Consultant to various US Federal and State Government agencies helping them comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Based in Washington DC, he was Director of Assistive Technology for one of the oldest charitable organizations for the blind in the US and is now a Consultant working with children with disabilities in the Canadian school system. Peter devotes considerable time traveling across Asia volunteering his services to agencies that work with people with disabilities.
This is a straightforward book set in the rain-forests of Thailand, it attempts to explain some of the authors theories, by way of allegory, to some of the most difficult questions each and every member of mankind has faced throughout all of time.

For those who identify themselves in the book, its a tale of their own personal struggles, hardship and what could be their greatest reward for staying their ground and not giving up. Enjoy.
