First edition first print hardback of PLATFORM SOULS: The Trainspotter as Twentieth-Century Hero by Nicholas Whittaker and published by Gollancz in 1995. Signed by Whittaker on a plate attached to the title page. Uncommon signed in any format.The book is in near fine condition (black cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with no significant wear. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which is in a removable protective sleeve and has light staining along the top edge of the front cover. Internally there are some lightly yellowish foxing spots to some of the pages. Otherwise, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
