Neil Storey THE DRACULA SECRETS First Edition

First edition, first print hardback of THE DRACULA SECRETS (Jack the Ripper and the Darkest Sources of Bram Stoker) by Neil R. Storey and published by The History Press in 2012.

The book is in very good+ condition (black cloth boards with gold lettering to spine) with just a bit of light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine. The dust jacket, which is not price clipped, is in very good condition and has light creasing to the top and bottom of the front cover and very light rubbing to the top of the spine. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions.

Since the first publication of Dracula in 1897, there have been suggestions that the book's protagonist is more closely associated with Jack the Ripper than a Transylvanian count. In The Dracula Secrets, historian Neil R. Storey undertakes an in-depth investigation into the sources used by Stoker during the writing of his seminal masterpiece.

252 pages including photographs and illustrations, plus Foreword, Acknowledgements, Appendices, Select Bibliography, Notes and Index
