The book is in fine condition (Clean illustrated glossy boards with red and yellow lettering on front and white lettering on spine) with virtually no wear at all. No dust jacket as issued. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions.
Uniforms & Heraldry of The Empire is the ultimate guide to the armies of The Empire. This 72-page, full-colour hardback contains hundreds of illustrations of emblems, uniforms and banners, as well as extra background material on The Empire and its soldiers.
Compiling this book - the drawing, colouring, and writing, has been achieved only after meticulously poring over everything ever produced by Games Workshop about the Empire, including Warhammer Armies books, Warhammer Fantasy Battle, White Dwarf, and many other publications. The uniforms and heraldry within this volume could not have been produced without this rich history.
Neil Hodgson (Author, Illustrator) drew all the soldiers, banners and shields used throughout this volume. Dave Andrews (Illustrator) created and then gathered together a great many of the original heraldic devices, and David Gallagher (Illustrator) painted all the illustrations and inspired all with his Empire sketches.
