First edition second print hardback of THE WOODEN WORLD: An Anatomy of the Georgian Navy by N. A. M. Rodger and published by William Collins Sons & Co Ltd in 1987. Signed by Rodger on the title page. Scarce signed.The book is in very good condition (red cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine) with light creasing to the spine edges. The book is in a very good- unclipped dust jacket which has slight creasing to the top and bottom of the spine edges and minor rubbing to the corners. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
