MOTOCOURSE 2009-2010 Superbike Annual

First edition, first print hardback of MOTOCOURSE 2009-2010 SUPERBIKE ANNUAL: 34th Year of Publication. Edited by Michael Scott. Foreword by Valentino Rossi. Published by Icon Publishing Limited, Worcestershire in 2009. With scarce alternative dust jacket design (which has probably been cancelled from production or an error).

The book is in very good condition (Clean blue cloth boards, gilt lettering on spine) with slight wear to the pictorial dust jacket which is not price clipped (light creasing to the edges, a couple of surface marks only visible under the light, slight bumping to front bottom corner). Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions.

MOTOCOURSE annuals cover a long period of the sport's history, from 1976 to the present day. Its aims were to "to provide the most complete data obtainable with interesting and authentic information, settle arguments and provide countless hours of interesting study and amusement. MOTOCOURSE world famous MotoGP and Superbike annuals are regarded as the definitive collectors items for any self respecting motorcycle sport fan.

Michael Scott is a regular contributor to the world's leading journals for motorcycle sport and has an unenviable record as the most prolific motorcycle journalist involved in the sport today with an unrivaled insight and reputation.

"MotoGP laid on an epic struggle in 2009, between two team-mates as the master Valentino Rossi and brilliant upstart Jorge Lorenzo slugged it out to a thrilling climax.

In World Superbikes, American Ben Spies took a record breaking maiden championship, at the last gasp.

And the final ever 250cc series went right down to the wire. With new rules sweeping tradition aside, the tracks were also ablaze with a phalanx of new young talent.

MOTOCOURSE, now in its 34th year, charts all the drama of a golden season. The best racing writers cover the full range of two- wheeled (and three-wheeled) racing. The finest racing photographers capture the action.

Superbly presented, MOTOCOURSE is established as the ultimate source book and a collectable essential. No wonder its nicknamed 'The Bible'.
