This is the fascinating life story of a man whose unique methods reveal the depth of communication that is possible between man and horse. His powers may seem like magic but Monty Robert's amazing 'horse sense' is based on a lifetime of experience. He started riding at the age of two and has never looked back.
He has spent his whole life working with horses, schooling them, studyingtheir behaviour in the wild, listening to them, caring for them and learning their language. Monty Roberts describes his extraordinary early days as a rodeo rider in California, his problems with his father, his struggle to set up as a professional trainer, his friendship with James Dean, and his demonstration of 'join up' to the Queen at Windsor, an event which brought Monty's methods to the attention of trainers and owners across the world.
