Here, in a single book, is a coordinated treasury of nymphing history and lore, sound entomological guidance, tying advice, and how-to instruction, written by an international selection of master fly fishermen. The Masters of the Nymph includes chapters by A. J. McClane, Ernest Schwiebert, Poul Jorgensen, Lefty Kreh, Dave Whitlock, Carl Richards, Charlie Brooks, Brian Clarke, Ed Zern, and many others. It offers basics for beginners, and a wealth of information and authoritative tips for the expert."

'A really fascinating book on the use of nymphs in fly fishing for trout, edited by two excellent trout fishermen. This book says it all!' - Jack Samson, Field & Stream
'This book has most of the answers in a variety of writing styles, from highly technical to downright amusing. The neat thing about an anthology is that each chapter is self-contained, and you can browse like a brown trout among the caddis larvae before taking an offering." - The Statesman-Journal (Portland, OR)
