The book is in very good condition (Clean blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine and gilt decoration on the front), with minor shelf wear to the pictorial dust jacket which is not price clipped. Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions.

This third edition has enabled the author to update the glossary with polyglot vocabulary, and the book also contains a bibliography and index.
