First edition first print hardback of A BOOK OF NONSENSE by Mervyn Peake and published by Peter Owen in 1972. Introduction by Maeve Gilmore.

The book is in very good condition (grey boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light general wear. The price-clipped dust jacket is in good condition with a couple of thumbnail closed tears to the top edge some sticker removal wear to the rear cover. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.
