First edition first print hardback of OUTSIDE DAYS: Some Adventures with Rod and Gun, by Max Hastings and published by Michael Joseph in 1989. Illustrated by William Geldart. Signed and dated by Hastings on the title page.

The book is in very good condition (brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light rubbing to edges and corners. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to edges, colour fading to the spine and a little moisture staining inside around the head and tail of the spine but not visible externally. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

A collection of articles and essays reflecting the author's love of the countryside and its pursuit. There is also a serious look at the future of field sports.
