L.J. Ludovici TOMORROW SOMETIMES COMES First Edition Double Signed

First edition first print hardback of TOMORROW SOMETIMES COMES: Ten Years Against Tyranny, by L.J. Ludovici and published by Odhams Press in 1957. Foreword by Clement Attlee. Signed by Ludovici and Albat (the subject of the book) on the front endpaper.

The book is in very good condition for its age (yellow boards with black lettering to spine) with light general wear. The book is in a good unclipped dust jacket which has creasing, rubbing, chips and a couple of closed tear to edges and corners. Internally the pages are generally clean and tight with the odd age related stain and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

This dramatic true account of one man's ten year struggle against tyranny, lifts a corner of the Iron Curtain to reveal for the first time something of the tragedy and misery in the Baltic States under Russian domination. Albat, the subject of this biography, is a Latvian and his story typifies the state of his country both during and after World War Two.

224 pages including Author's Note. Illustrated with black & white photographs and drawings.
