Vintage hardback of HEATH'S PICTURESQUE ANNUAL FOR 1835: SCOTT AND SCOTLAND by Leitch Ritchie (with engravings from original drawings by George Cattermole) and published by Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown, and Green in 1835.

The book is in very good condition considering it is over 180 years old (red leather boards with gold lettering to banded spine, gilt page edges) with some light rubbing and soiling to the boards due to age and a tiny chip to the top of the spine. Comes in a slipcase, which is not the book's original. Internally, the pages are age tanned but tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions.

21 engravings from drawings by George Cattermole which illustrate not only Scotland, the country of Sir Walter Scott, but his tales, romances and poems.
