The record itself is in a little bit less than excellent condition, with a couple of light visible non-sounding scratches/marks when viewed under normal house lighting. Superb sound quality, very clear recording, with NO jumps, pops or crackle and just a couple of soft ticks at the start of Side One. Otherwise faultless playback.

Minimal to no spindle wear. Labels very clean, no discernible spider marks.

The outer sleeve is in very good condition, with just minor wear (light bumping to corners/rubbing to edges, nothing major). The inner sleeve has no major wear to speak of, just a bit of creasing.

Beautiful, haunting vocal renditions from singers who are not professionals. As Marcel Cellier (who brought these singers together for the purpose of recording the songs) put it: "The Bulgarian song has retained its original expressive magnificence to be enjoyed with eyelids closed".
