First limited edition slipcased hardbacks of OFF ON A COMET & SPLINTER by Jules Verne and Adam Roberts respectively and published by Solaris in 2007. Number 152 of 1000 copies printed. Signed by Roberts on the title page of SPLINTER. Both numberlines are 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1.Both books are in near fine condition (red cloth boards with gilt decorations to both front boards) with only light creasing to the bottom edges of both spines. Internally the books are clean and tight with no tears or other inscriptions. The books are in a very good slipcase that has some light rubbing to the edges and corners and very small indentations to the top and bottom.
A limited slipcased edition combining two science fiction novels. Splinter by Adam Roberts is a reworking of Off on a Comet by Jules Verne which was originally published in 1877.
