The book is in very good condition (black cloth boards with silver lettering to spine) with light bumping to the corners and the top and bottom edges of the spine. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing and rubbing to the edges. Internally the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
This book is an exceptional tale of one woman's multiple forays into occupied France at the personal request of Winston Churchill, although the veracity of Butler's story has since been called into question. Included with the book is a short article concerning this.
