Limited edition slipcased hardback of END AND BEGINNING by John Masefield and published by William Heinemann Ltd in 1933. Number 90 of 275 copies printed. Signed by Masefield on the limitation page.

The book is in very good condition (green cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front) with some occasional light age staining and spotting to the pages which is more pronounced on both endpapers. Gilt top and rough cut front and bottom page edges with some pages uncut. Lacking the glassine dust jacket. The book is in a very good slipcase which has light rubbing to the edges as well as some light staining. Internally the pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.

A lesser-known short play by the Poet Laureate John Masefield, concerning Mary, Queen of Scots and set in Fotheringay Castle during her imprisonment.
