First edition, first print hardback of THE SECRET FAMILIES by John Gardner and published by Bantam Press/ Transworld Publishers Ltd., London in 1989. 

The book is in very good condition (clean red cloth boards and bright silver lettering on spine) with only slight wear to the dust jacket, which is not price clipped (very light creasing to the edges, a tiny scratch to the edge on the side and minor fading to the spine but nothing too drastic). Internally, the pages are clean and tight and there are no tears and no inscriptions. There is very slight yellowing to the pages towards the edges.
