First edition first print hardback of ABDUL'S TAXI TO KALIGHAT by Joe Roberts and published by Profile Books in 2000. Signed by Roberts on the title page.The book is in very good condition (brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light creasing to the top and bottom of the spine and back board as well as to the top edge of the front board. The book is in a very good unclipped dust jacket which has light creasing to the bottom of the front cover, top of the back cover and top and bottom of the spine, which is completely sun-bleached and has lost all its colour. The front page edges have very light rubbing and tiny brown stains. Internally the pages are very lightly yellowed but are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or other inscriptions.
