Limited edition hardback of A WINDOW IN THRUMS by J.M. Barrie and published by Hodder & Stoughton Ltd in 1892. Number 490 of 550 copies printed. Ex Libris book plate of author C J Caswell affixed to the front pastedown.

The book is in very good condition (dark blue buckram boards with gilt lettering to spine) with light rubbing to the edges, light bumping to the corners, some light creasing to the head and tail of the spine and age tanning to the pages and page edges which is more pronounced on the endpapers. Thick rough cut pages. No dust jacket as issued. Internally the pages are otherwise clean and tight and there are no tears or inscriptions.

A Window in Thrums - the story of the "untrue son" - is one of several novels about the fictional village of Thrums, said to be modeled on Barrie's home town of Kirriemuir.
